99 an hour 5 days ago 5 days ago 5 days ago Under general supervision performs a wide variety of skilled, unskilled, and semi-skilled maintenance work in the repair of parks, buildings, and City facilities.
Performs minor repairs on park benches and tables, clean, sanitize and service park restrooms, tree trimming and removal services, including pruning branches, grinding tree stumps to ground level and removing trees safely and efficiently; remove trash and debris from all park areas; maintain City landscaping, including mowing, trimming, pruning, edging, herbicide and fertilizer treatment, weeding, irrigation system maintenance and debris maintenance.
May be need for assisting with street maintenance and other similar duties.
May be required to respond to after-hours emergencies.
Basic knowledge of janitorial services, and landscaping and vegetation maintenance required.
Also required, basic principles, practices, tools and materials relating to the maintenance repair of infrastructure, facilities, systems and other related items similar to those in a municipal environment.
HS Diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of one (1) year of general maintenance experience related to facilities, parks, streets, etc.
required.
Possession of a valid CA Driver's License, Class C & a satisfactory (clean) driving record.
